“Photography has always made me happy, since I was a child, and now it means something important to me because it is the way I defend the idea that Africa is not just something negative”, says Derrick Ofosu Boateng, a digital artist based in Accra, Ghana.

Derrick started his career shooting and editing on his father’s iPhone. his creative approach to photography in creating colourful and soulful images, is supported by a methodical design, production and editing process.

In the global art industry, Africa is still underrepresented, but Derrick Ofosu Boateng thrives in connecting with an international audience, through his Instagram account (@derrick_o_boateng). Discover here his limited editions.
